I was working on a set that was set a bit higher, but I have yet to finish it. Remember to set the event on fixed direction when using these. Nothing too fancy but if you were to add an animation or something it could look nice. This zip folder contains all the icons in the RTP done up like the above. They are hard to see because they are white on a white background. Also here’s the number fonts if you want to use them. Overall I like the options this design gives you if you are using the RTP because there are a lot of different combinations for the battlebacks. Obviously I have a better example for template 2 because that’s the one I’ve spent more time with. Next I add the template I’m using (I like template 2 better personally, but I figured template 1 could be better for some people). Then I configure my grid 264 x 384 and cut-out a section. These are 264 x 384 pixels and I combine them with these cut out of the backgrounds I’m using in my game:Īll I’ve done here is made the background in GIMP, battleback 1 and 2 layer really easily. So consequently these are only for RPG Maker license holders like most things I make. The circles and ovals were made using animation images from the RTP. These are some templates for a larger card design. This is the forest battleback and grassland battleback slightly recolored because I thought they would look a little more fitting with the tiles from Celianna’s tileset I’m using in my game. I also made some alternate colors of the arrows just for fun. These are just some of the icons from the RTP without the background and I removed the lettering from the buff arrows. So here’s some stuff I’ve been working on. My schedule changed at work and I haven’t had the time I had before, though I’ve had more time with the family, so that’s nice. Sorry. So I know its been a while and I’m sorry about that. If I remember where they're from, I'll edit them in here. Edit3: How could I forget Pandamaru's VXAce tilesets! (Digging required, also some of the links inside might repeat from the other lists) Edit2: Granny's Little Bits has some more stuff mixed in. Edit1: Caitlin's Graphical World is a big mixture of stuff, with modern/Sci-Fi/Post-apocalyptic stuff included. Then Joy's Futuristic Tiles - Spaceship Interior for a nice collection of edits. Lunarea & Celianna's Steampunk tiles can also be used (though they're in parallax format, so some work needed) Also Check out IcyDragon's Modern/Futeristic tiles specifically, the topic also has a handy one-stop download link for the whole thing. Some stuff from Enterbrain/Tsukuru's Blog GrandmaDeb's Modern Exterior tiles (as Sci-fi often uses things that can appear modern as well) She also has quite a few links within both posts to stuff that is certainly Sci-Fi. First check out both Granny's Lists - Modern and Futuristic Resources and Word of Warning, some things might have watermarks from photobucket or whatever, so you might need to use something like Gimp or Photoshop to try and fix that. Click to expand. This is certainly one of the more difficult things to obtain, but thankfully we have a lot of people who have helped make this easier.
